 Please note:

The groups are limited to no more then 24 people!

All walks will be at an easy to moderate pace and are

optional and there is some variation in length and terrain

each day. In Oslo and Bergen we do walking tours on

mostly flat terrain and paved surfaces. City walking tours

will be of 1-3 hours duration, but will include plenty of

stops with the possibility to sit down during information

talks or portions that we use public transportation

 (such as ferries and streetcars).

We will do a couple of shorter walks in the countryside.

One will be a short walk in the Valdres mountains of about

20-40 minute duration on a road and small rocky trail in

hilly terrain. Our starting point will be at a vantage point

and we will only do this in good weather, so PAX who

choose not do this walk can wait by or on the bus and

 enjoy the mountain view.

We do a walking tour in connection with our farm visit.

We do a loop through the farmer's orchard on a dirt road

that leads steeply up to a vantage point. We do this at a

slow pace as the farmer is stopping often to give

information. PAX can leave this walk at any time and head

back down to the bus and a sheltered area. This walking

 tour takes about 45 minutes.

In Ullensvang on the fjord, we have a free day in

which PAX can go hiking, enjoy the hotel's facilities

or just relax. I'll do a couple of walks with interested

group members of 1-2 hours duration on good surfaces

(paved or dirt roads) with some hilly to steep portions.

I'll present options for those interested in more strenuous

or easier alternatives. This is a very good area to do walks

or other activities on your own - so everyone can

comfortably do what they like here.

We also have a bike ride included from Myrdal to Flåm.

This is downhill (steep at times) or flat and will be about

3 hours durations with a stops for a picnic lunch and photos.

PAX who do not want to do the bike trip can take the

train down from Myrdal to Flåm.
