The
Baltic Sea region is a rapidly growing tourism
destination in Northern Europe. An increasing
number of visitors are
discovering the
wealth of natural and cultural diversity that is
available in the Baltic States and around the
Baltic Sea.
Our escorted tour
features the Old World cities of Riga, Latvia;
Vilnius, Lithuania; and Tallinn, Estonia, with
castles,
medieval lanes, and
incredible architecture.
Napoleon once called
Riga a "suburb of London" where the traditions
of many nations crossed their paths. Riga is
rich
in history, culture
and diverse entertainments; the countryside area
around Riga is dotted with a series of palaces,
castles and manors
built through the centuries.
Lithuania is the
oldest of the Baltic States. Vilnius, its
capital, is the largest and one of the oldest
cities of the country.
The Old Town of
Vilnius is a reflection of the town history,
glory and splendor. Gediminas Castle overlooking
the city
and the Cathedral
located at the foot of the hill represent the
main landmarks of Vilnius.
Tallinn is the
oldest capital in Northern Europe, was put on
the map for the first time in 1154. Tallinn’s
Old Town is
included in the
UNESCO World Heritage List as one of the
best-preserved medieval town centers in Europe.
Toompea
Hill and the towers
of Oleviste Church and the Town Hall offer
breathtaking views over the Old Town.
