Sat VILNIUS
Individual arrival in Vilnius. Transfer on your own
to the hotel. Check-in and welcome meeting with your
tour guide.

Day 2 Sun VILNIUS - TRAKAI - RUNDALE - RIGA (B)
(Motorcoach 350 km / 217 miles)
The day begins with a trip to the village of Trakai,
former capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
Visit a
medieval castle of the 14th century, situated in the middle of Lake Galve,
connected to the mainland by a picturesque bridge.
Continue by coach to Riga, with short stop in
Rundale. Visit the beautiful Baroque Rundale Palace,
built in the 18th century. Arrival in Riga, check-in
at the hotel.

Day 3 Mon RIGA (B)
The
morning sightseeing introduces Riga's historic
sights, which display a wide variety of
architectural styles. Visit the medieval Hanseatic town,
Riga Castle, St. Peter Church, Dome Cathedral, and
the Old Guild Houses. The new part of the town -
also about a hundred years old - is very interesting
with its 19th-century Art Nouveau architecture.

Day 4 Tue RIGA - PÄRNU - TALLINN (B)

Morning departure for Tallinn with stop-over in
Pärnu, Estonian 'Summer Capital", known as a summer
health resort since 1830. Continue to Tallinn,
capital of Estonia. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 5 Wed TALLINN (B)
Enjoy a
sightseeing tour of Tallinn, visiting the heart of
the Old Town, an example of Gothic architecture in
the Baltic. The tour includes Toompea Castle
fortifications, the Dome Church from the 13th
century, the Old Guild and St. Olaf's Church.

Afternoon Optional excursion to Kadriorg Park and

Day 6 Thu TALLINN - TARTU - SIGULDA (B)

Morning
departure for Sigulda. Stop-over in Tartu, the
second largest town in Estonia. City tour, including
Tartu university, Toome Hill Park with its
monuments, sculptured bridges and ruins of gothic
church, panoramic view of Jaani Church and Town
Square. Further drive to Sigulda / Latvia.

walk in Gauja National Park, including visit to

Morning city tour of Vilnius includes the Historical
Old Town with Vilnius Cathedral, St. Peter and Paul's Church, St Ann and Bernardines
Church, the Gates of Dawn with a holy image of
Virgin Mary, Russian Orthodox Church of Holy Spirit,
Town Hall Square and Vilnius University, founded in
1579. and St. John's Church. Tour ends after the
sightseeing at 12:00.
Afternoon optional 2-hour excursion to Gediminas Castle.
