Brakanes Hotel has a beautiful location, set in a pretty garden, beside the
Hardanger Fjord in the Ulvik tourist area. This highly respectable hotel was
established in 1860 and is surrounded by high mountains, sparkling fjords
and a well-organized cultural scene. This provides you with plenty of

The hotel has 142 modern and nicely decorated guest rooms, including
disabled and non smoking rooms that can be booked on request. All rooms are
of high standard, with bathroom, work desk, telephone, cable TV and mini
bar. Several rooms are also equipped with trouser press and hair dryer.
The rooms vary somewhat in size, but most are large. They also vary in style
and age. Some are in very good condition, whilst some of the older ones
could do with some refurbishment and look a bit old fashioned. All rooms are
comfortable and though their styles vary they are all clean and comfortable.
