The
Hardanger Fjord - the Orchard of Norway! The
country's second largest fjord, Hardanger, is
situated in the heart of Fjord Norway. Breathtaking
scenery varies from scenic waterways, apple and
cherry orchards, hiking trails and snow-covered
mountain plateau. Enter the Hardangervidda National
Park with two of Norway’s largest glaciers,
Folgefonna and Hardangerjøkulen. Enjoy some of
Norway’s most popular waterfalls, including
Vøringfossen, Steinsdalsfossen and Låtefossen. The
region, rich in folklore, offers many museums,
including the Hardanger Folk Museum and Hardanger
Ships Preservation Centre museum. The area is also
famous for its connections with the classical
Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg (1843-1907) who
built a cabin in Lofthus in 1875, where he lived for
several years. Here, inspired by the tranquility of
the magnificent surrounding countryside, he wrote
many of his finest pieces.
Day 01 BERGEN
Arrive Bergen and transfer on your own to the hotel.

Day 02 BERGEN - VOSS - ULVIK (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer on your own to the
train station. Depart by train on the Bergen Railway
to Voss. Continue by coach through attractive
farmlands to Ulvik, a delightful village typical of
Western Norway. Walk to the hotel for dinner and
overnight.

Day 03 ULVIK - LOFTHUS (B)
Buffet breakfast at your hotel. The morning’s free
to explore Ulvik. After lunch on your own, depart by
ferry to Lofthus. Enjoy the many amenities at the
hotel, including swimming pool, spa and bowling.

Day 04 LOFTHUS - BERGEN (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. This afternoon continue your
journey to Bergen. You’ll experience charming
villages, orchards and the idyllic scenery of the
Hardangerfjord before arriving in Norheimsund. Board
the motorcoach and transverse the wild gorge of
Tokagjelet Ravine, continue across the Kvamskogen
Mountain Plateau and along the Soerfjord before
arriving in Bergen. Transfer on your own to the
hotel. Overnight at your hotel, ideally located near
the waterfront. Overnight at your hotel.
