Begin your journey in Oslo; ride the scenic Bergenbanen across the
Hardangervidda mountains via Geilo to Myrdal.
Connect to the famous Flåm Railway, descending through the wild Flåm
Valley, passing Norway’s wildest and most
magnificent scenery on the 20 km-long train ride.
You will pass scenery of snow-clad peaks, the river cutting
through deep gorges, waterfalls cascading off steep
mountainsides, and mountain farms clinging to
precipitous slopes. A cruise on the mighty
Sognefjord from Flåm to Balestrand takes you to the
historic Kvikne's Hotel, dating back to 1850.
Continue through the hairpin curves of the Stalheim
Canyon Road to Lofthus, on the shores of the
Hardangerfjord, often referred to as the "Orchard of
Norway" with nearly 600,000 fruit trees. Nestled on
the shores is one of the best hotel resorts in
Norway, the fabulous Hotel Ullensvang. Time to
explore the colorful city of Bergen, capital of the
fjords.
Day 1 OSLO
Individual arrival in Oslo. Spend your afternoon at
leisure. Overnight at the new Opera Hotel, ideally
located in the city center.

Day 2 OSLO - FLAM RAILWAY - BALESTRAND (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Short walk to the Central
Station. Early morning departure on the scenic
Bergenbanen to Myrdal. Ride the famous Flåm Railway
to Flåm; cruise on the beautiful Sogne Fjord to
Balestrand. Self-transfer to the hotel. Dinner and
overnight at the beautiful historic Kvikne's Hotel,
dating back to 1850.
Day 3 BALESTRAND - LOFTHUS (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Walk to the pier for your
cruise to Gudvangen. Continue by bus through the
hairpin turns of the Stalheim Canyon to Voss. Change
of bus in Voss, and continue your journey to
Lofthus, ideally located on the shores of the
Hardanger Fjord. Evening arrival in Lofthus.
Overnight at the first class Ullensvang Hotel.
Day 4 LOFTHUS - BERGEN (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure. Evening
cruise on the fjord to Norheimsund, and continue by
motor coach to Bergen. Transfer on your own to the
hotel. Overnight at your hotel,
beautifully located near the Wharf.

Day 5 BERGEN (B)
After breakfast enjoy a 3-hour sightseeing tour,
including the home of famous composer, Edvard Grieg.
Afternoon at leisure to explore the Fish & Flower
Market, or ride the funicular to Mt. Fløyen.

Enjoy breakfast before checking out.
