Day 1 KEFLAVIK - REYKJAVIK
Arrival and overnight in Reykjavik (transfer
from international airport not included).
All travel documents will
be delivered to the first hotel in Reykjavik.

Day 2 SOUTH COAST - SKOGAFOSS (B)
Visit south coast
highlights such as Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss
waterfalls, Mýrdalsjökull glacier and Dyrhólaey,
a rocky headland where thousands of puffins nest
during summer*.
Optional:

*Please note that Dyrholaey is closed during
nesting season in spring, middle May until June
23rd.

Day 3 THORJORSARDALUR - STONG VIKING
FARMSTEAD (B)
Explore Þjórsárdalur valley and its landscape of
sharply contrasting birch woods, sandy lava
fields, rivers and waterfalls, huddling below
the impressive volcano Hekla. Visit
Þjóðveldisbærinn, a replica
of an old Viking farm. Continue to Gullfoss
waterfall and Geysir hot spring area.

Day 4 PINGVELLIR NATIONAL PARK - BLUE LAGOON
(B)
Visit Þingvellir National Park, site of the
ancient Icelandic parliament. The Althing,
oldest assembly in Europe, was convened at
Thingvellir in 930. Continue via Hvalfjörður
fjord or Kaldidalur highland track (4WD needed).
On to the beautiful Borgarfjörður region and
Reykholt, home of Iceland's greatest medieval
writer, poet, scholar and statesman, Snorri
Sturluson (1179-1241). Return to Reykjavík in
the afternoon. Overnight in Reykjavik.
Optional:
This evening
you might enjoy an excursion to the Blue Lagoon
for a relaxing, energizing swim in the
geothermal waters, sit in the cozy steam bath in
a lava cave or experience an energizing massage
under Blue Lagoon waterfall.

Day 5 DEPARTURE (B)
The morning free for own activities and
sightseeing before your afternoon transfer on
your own by
Flybus
to the Keflavik airport.
