RE-15 -
South Shore
Adventure
This tour is ideal for
nature lovers and bird enthusiasts of all kinds.
Tour features
South Iceland is a lowland region of lush
farmland, striking waterfalls, sandy coastline,
glaciers and quaint towns and villages. It is
also an area of historical significance. Here
the famous Icelandic Saga of Njáll occurred.
This tour will go through areas where events
changed the course of Icelandic history.
Visitors have an opportunity to stand
behind a plummeting waterfall, gaze at natural
rock formations and feel the amazing power of a
glacier (if road conditions allow). Around
lunch time, we will stop at the village Vík,
which is surrounded by beautiful and impressive
high bird cliffs. Here you have the possibility
to get to know the unique black sands of the
Icelandic coastline. The tour offers a wide
range of scenery and goes through areas of great
contrast in nature. A truly fulfilling
experience and a great way to spend a day in
Iceland.
Locations visited
