Day 1 HELSINKI
Individual arrival in
Helsinki. Transfer on your own to your hotel. Check-in and time at
leisure.

Day 2 HELSINKI - ROVANIEMI (B)
Breakfast at your hotel. Day at leisure in Helsinki. Perhaps join an
optional city sightseeing tour. This evening transfer on your own to the
Helsinki Train Station for departure by night train from Helsinki to
Rovaniemi.

3 ROVANIEMI - REINDEER FARM -
SANTA VILLAGE - HELSINKI (B, L)
You
will arrive in Rovaniemi in the morning. First you will have some free
time in the town to for example enjoy breakfast. The tour begins from
the Safari Club. It begins with a trip by traditional riverboat and a
visit to a local Reindeer cottage to hear about the reindeer husbandry
and Lappish culture. You will participate in the special ceremony of
crossing the Arctic Circle. A three-course
Lappish style lunch
consisting of Lappish specialties will be
served at the Reindeer cottage. You are also welcome to visit the home
of the Lappish family and their Workshop.
In the
afternoon you visit Santa Claus in his workshop on the Arctic Circle.
Time for shopping at the Santa Claus Village and to send postcards from
Santa's main post office. The tour ends in the city of Rovaniemi where
you will have free time to explore Rovaniemi on your own before your
return trip back to Helsinki. Transfer in Helsinki Airport to our hotel
on your own (not included).
