Greenland scenes

Iceland's Golden Circle combined with exotic East Greenland where the old

Eskimo cultures are still alive!

This program offers a circle tour of South West Iceland including all the main attractions of the area. Overnight

stay in the countryside as well as in the Icelandic capital affords unique opportunities to experience all what Iceland

is about, lava fields, pure nature, the famous Geysir area, gigantic waterfalls and geothermal spas. Less than

2 hours flying time west of Iceland, on the edge of the gigantic Greenland Inland Ice Cap, the tiny settlements

Kulusuk and Tasiilaq witness the ability of the Eskimo population adjusting to the Arctic climate and nature.
Only a little more than 100 years ago, the first Europeans "discovered" this area!
This program combines the northern most capital in the world, Reykjavik, with the different world in East Greenland,

where the old Inuit traditions are still alive. From Reykjavik we explore the most famous nature attractions in South-

West Iceland: the erupting Hot Springs at Geysir, the Gullfoss Waterfall and the Thingvellir National Park, which has

been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In Greenland our experienced guides will give an introduction to

everyday life. Enjoy a cruise between ever-changing icebergs.

 Highlights:

Hveragerdi - The Geothermal Greenhouse Village / Reykjavik - Modern capital in the North Atlantic /

Tasiilaq - exotic East Greenland town.
