 It has only been a hundred years since the first Europeans arrived in the inhabited districts in East Greenland.

 Therefore the traditional Inuit culture continuously plays an important role in the local communities.  In East

 Greenland the old traditions are being kept alive: Original faith is still reflected in the art and handicrafts made

 by local artists and drum dance is even now performed.

 Kulusuk is the gateway to East Greenland. The village Kap Dan is found half an hour's walk from the airport.

 It is a typical settlement where the population still makes a living from hunting and fishing.

 Here in East Greenland the dog sledge still an integral part of everyday life during winter and spring. The apparently

 simple wooden sledge and a team of husky dogs is in fact a living expression of man's adaptation to his environment.

 The Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights are mesmerizing, dynamic displays of light that appear in the nighttime Arctic

 skies.  For our search of the magic and colorful display of lights and colors of the Arctic winter and few areas better

 than Greenland and Iceland; February and March are perfect conditions to view the magical display!

Day 1 Tue REYKJAVIK

Arrival to Keflavik and individual transfer by 'Flybus' to

your hotel in Reykjavik.

Day 2 Wed REYKJAVIK - KULUSUK (B, L, D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up at the hotel and transfer to Reykjavik domestic airport. Flight by Air Iceland to Kulusuk. Meet & greet and transfer to the nearby Hotel Kulusuk. Lunch and dinner at the hotel. In the afternoon guided sightseeing in the village of Kap Dan.

Day 3 Thu KULUSUK (B, L, D)

Breakfast and dinner at the hotel.
Full day tour by dog sledge. Lunch box & warm drink is included during the excursion.

Day 4 Fri KULUSUK ((B, L, D)

Breakfast at your hotel. Day at leisure in Kulusuk.

Transfer to the airport and by Air Iceland to Reykjavik. Transfer to the hotel.
