 The Aurora Borealis are mesmerizing, dynamic displays of light that appear in the nighttime Arctic skies. Aurora

 borealis - the northern aurora, forms in an oval centered on the north magnetic pole in the Artic. Few sights can

 equal the magic and mystery of these luminous sheets of color playing in the frigid air of an Arctic night. Our semi

 escorted Northern Lights program takes you on a search of the magic and colorful auroral display of lights and

 colors. This program is an alternative to a stay in Reykjavik with daily excursions. The itinerary offers a tour of

 South West Iceland including the main attractions. Overnight stay in the countryside affords unique opportunities

 to experience the northern lights as well as bathing in the famous spas.

 Our 3-centre program is staying overnight at Spa Hotel Örk where our guests have free access to the geothermal

 facilities: Swimming pool, hot pots and steam house. The countryside dark nights offer good possibilities for Northern

 Light observation and optional daytime excursions such as horse back riding and exploring the South Coast &

 Thorsmörk. Included in this tour is also a visit to the world famous Blue Lagoon and a stay in the capital of Iceland

 which is a blend of the past and the modern world.

Day 1 ARRIVAL REYKJAVIK
Arrival to Keflavik Airport, pick-up and transfer to your three or four star hotel of choice for overnight.
Accommodation: Hotel Northern Light Inn***, Flughotel or Hotel Keflavik

Day 2 BLUE LAGOON - ÞINGVELLIR (B)

Morning time to visit the Blue Lagoon (entrance fee is included).
Noon pick up by English speaking driver guide and via Reykjavik to the National Park of Thingvellir, the majestic waterfall Gullfoss and the famous Geysir area with erupting hot springs. The tour is terminating in the Greenhouse Village; Hveragerdi with overnight at Hotel Örk where all our guests have free access to the outdoor geothermal pools.

Day 3 HVERAGERDI - REYKJAVIK (B)

Day at leisure in Hveragerdi to enjoy the geothermal facilities or participate in an optional excursion:

	Horse Riding
	South Coast & Thorsmörk

Early evening pick up and transfer to your three or four star hotel of choice in Reykjavik.

Day 4 DEPARTURE (B)

Individual transfer by 'Flybus' to Keflavik Airport. 'Flybus' departs from your hotel - please inform the reception the day before leaving.
 

Additional nights at all hotels are possible at surcharge!
 

Spa-Hotel Örk
Our 3 centre program is staying overnight at Hotel Örk where guests have free access to the geo-thermal facilities: Swimming pool, hot pots and steam house.
The countryside dark nights offer good possibilities for Northern Light observation and optional day time excursions such as horse back riding and Super Jeeps safaris are available from Hotel Örk.

Reykjavik accommodation
4 star hotels such as Grand Hotel Reykjavík****, Radisson SAS Saga or similar.

All clients staying at Grand Hotel Reykjavik will enjoy 10% discount in Brasserie Grand. If staying 3 nights or more Grand offers a free upgrade to executive room. Guests staying less than 3 nights can upgrade for only US $ 25 per room per night. (can only be done on spot and when available).
