Thanks to the snowmobile, we can traverse untouched
snowfields to places that would other-wise be
inaccessible.
Here in Lapland, the snowmobile has been an
indispensable piece of equipment since the 1950s.
Nowadays, the
snowmobile is the preferred means of
transport in the winter, both for those of us who
live here and for our guests.
Let us take you on a guided snowmobile safari and
teach you to master the vehicle that is a part of
our culture.

Snowmobile from Kiruna Airport to
Jukkasjärvi
 Our
guide meets you when you arrive at Kiruna Airport.
You are immediately given warm outer clothing and
your luggage is transferred to ICEHOTEL. A sandwich
and a drink are served before you leave the airport
or during a stop en route.
Daily schedule: in conjunction with flight
arrivals, journey time is 2.5 hours.

Snowmobile Excursion, 1.5 hrs

excursion, 2 persons per vehicle. After instructions
on driving and safety measures, the group takes off

forests that surround Jukkasjärvi.

Wilderness Safari by Snowmobile, 3 hrs
 An
extra-long guided snowmobile ride through the
wilderness in and around the ancient forest that
surrounds Jukkasjärvi, including a traditional
wilderness lunch. The lunch features smoked reindeer
meat on bread plus salmon soup with herb aioli,
followed by lingonberry cake served with coffee or
tea.

Snowmobile Excursion, including Overnight at
Wilderness Camp
 Join
us for a two-day guided snowmobile excursion into
the wilderness. You will drive through a wilderness
area covered with deep snow and through dense
forest.
In the company of our experienced and knowledgeable
guides, this is a trip you will never forget. Your
dinner at the wilderness camp comprises a main
course and dessert. The menu varies according to the
season, but always comprises local ingredients.
In the morning, you are served a hearty breakfast
before jumping on the snowmobiles again to set off
for new adventures. We stop for a snack over an open
campfire.
Considering the length of the excursion, we
recommend one person per snowmobile. Meals and
towels for the sauna are included in the price.

More detailed information about this safari is
available on request. We reserve the right to change
the safari length and route in extreme weather
conditions and when the temperature drops to less
than 20 degrees below zero.
The distance covered varies from about 40 kilometers
to 140 kilometers, depending on which wilderness
camp we decide to use, and on weather and terrain
conditions.
Northern Lights Safari, 3 hrs, including Dinner
 Guided
snowmobile excursion in search of the Northern
Lights.
During the tour, our guide will talk about the
Northern Lights and show slides of the phenomenon.
Included in the tour: a light meal, consists of smoked salmon, moose meat soup,
apple cake in custard sauce, and coffee or tea.
Lingonberry juice is served with the main course.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and
therefore, we cannot guarantee that they will occur.
For the Snowmobile Enthusiast, 2 hours

tour for you who likes riding a snowmobile. You
might have joined another of our tours and like to
ride some more. We offer you 2 hours of great fun.
Hopefully you get the feeling of free riding. 1
person per snowmobile in small groups of 8 guests
per guide at most. A perfect ending to your stay at
the ICEHOTEL!

Wilderness tour in
search of Moose
 Might
be the photo opportunity you'll always remember! If
the circumstances are right, as you travel be
minibus to the elk's winter pastures, there might be
some great footage waiting for you. The elk is the
second largest species of deer in the world and an
often spotted in our neck of the woods. Bring along
a spear battery for the camera and hopefully they
will pose for you. This activity includes a ride by
minibus, an experienced guide, coffee and buns.
Remember that you have to be at the meeting point at
least 10 minutes before the activity starts.
