Day 1 Wed REYKJAVIK

Individual arrival in Reykjavik. Transfer by Flybus to Reykjavik (transfer not included). The Flybus is located right outside the Keflavík International Airport. Transfer to all major hotels in Reykjavík. Overnight at your hotel of choice.

 Day 2 Thu GEYSIR GEOTHERMAL AREA (B, D)

Start the day by driving to Þingvellir National Park, where the ancient parliament met for centuries on the shores of Iceland's largest lake. Continue through the farmlands to the thermal area of the great Geysir and Strokkur spouting hot springs. Last but not least visit Gullfoss, known as the "Golden Waterfall". Dinner and overnight stay in Flúdir village.

Day 3 Fri WATERFALLS & BLACK SAND BEACHES

(B, D)
Drive along the south shore, passing various places of beauty and interest, such as Skógafoss and
Seljalandsfoss waterfalls and the black glacial sands. An interesting stop will be made at Skógar, with its beautiful collection of old turf farms and buildings that have been restored to its original state. Onwards to Reynisfjara beach, viewing the extraordinary rock formations and thundering waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Dinner and an overnight stay in the small village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Day 4 Sat SKAFTAFELL NATIONAL PARK - GLACIAL LAGOON (B, D)

Skaftafell National Park is one of Iceland's most outstanding areas of natural beauty dominated by the
glacier Vatnajökull, Europe's largest ice cap. Continue to Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon where you can enjoy a breathtaking sight of floating icebergs on the fantastic 180m deep glacial lagoon. Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Sun CANYON - BLUE LAGOON - REYKJAVIK (B)
Explore the magnificent Fjarðarárgljúfur canyon in the morning. Onwards to the impressive ice-wall of the Sólheimajökull glacier, that has created the stunning coastal line of the South. Then head to the Blue Lagoon for a refreshing dip in the warm, mineral-rich waters. Return to Reykjavík, where the evening is at your own leisure.
