Day 1
REYKJAVIK - HVERAGERDI
Arrival at Keflavík airport,
and pick up of rental
car. Follow the main road towards Reykjavík and
across Hellisheiði plateau to the greenhouse village
Hveragerði, and from there onwards to your selected
hotel.
Relax in romantic outdoor hot tubs and view the
Northern Lights. Located by Ranga River and facing a
lovely view of mountains and glaciers

Day 2 BLACK BEACH & WATERFALLS
(B)
Drive along the scenic south
shore, viewing various beautiful waterfalls such as
Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss along the way. The
Skógar Folk Museum is not to be missed. Visit the
impressive black beaches below Mýrdalsjökull glacier
and the charming village of Vík.

Day 3 GULLFOSS - GEYSIR - ÞINGVELLIR (B)
The day will be spent visiting the best known nature
sites in Iceland, the spectacular Gullfoss waterfall
and Geysir hot spring area. Drive to Þingvellir
National Park, former site of the Icelandic
parliament. The park itself is situated in a
stunning volcanic landscape of mountains and lava
flows. For those arriving early in Reykjavík, it is
a possibility to drive to the unique Blue Lagoon.
The Blue Lagoon, famous for its unique bathing and
healing powers, has an otherworldly setting where
lava and thermal water complement each other.
Between late autumn and early spring the northern
lights are often seen dancing in the sky.

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive back to Keflavik
International Airport,
where you will return the car.
