Day 1 Thu ARRIVAL KEMI (D)
Individual arrival at Kemi Airport. Car transfer
to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Fri HUSKY SAFARI - SNOW CASTLE (B, D)
After breakfast your guide will provide you with
thermal suits, which are at your disposal until
your departure from Kemi. Transfer by car to a genuine
Husky Farm for an exhilarating 2-hour husky
safari. You will learn how to drive the
husky team of 5 to 6 dogs, and soon you'll be a
"musher”. Two persons take turn in driving
the dog team and sitting in the sleigh as
passenger (children travel in parent's sleigh).
a hot beverage of coffee and juice will be
served by open fire.
Lunch is on our own. Afternoon at leisure to
explore this Nordic town.
Dinner in Meripirtti Lodge, a countryside
restaurant on the seashore (car transfers are
provided from your hotel). Your meal consists of
salmon glow fried on open fire, a local
delicacy.
If you wish, you can stay the night in the Snow
Lodge, a "cool" environment, in a room
constructed of snow and ice. the inside
temperature is about -5
° Celsius.

Day 3 Sat SNOWMOBILES - ICEBREAKER CRUISE -
REINDEER FARM (B, L, D)
After breakfast, your guide will provide
thermal suits and helmets and you'll start your journey by
snowmobile (2 persons sharing while children
travel on guides sleigh) through the ice field to board the
Icebreaker cruise. Sail on this amazing
journey through the Arctic waters as the ship
crushes through the ice. Lunch will be served in a cozy restaurant on
board Sampo Icebreaker, followed by the
highlight of the 3-4 hour cruise, the swim in the Arctic
Sea. For the adventurous you will be given an
opportunity to swim in the freezing waters. The Brave will be equipped with a survival
suit, keeping you warm and afloat. (the swim is
for adults only).
Say
farewell and receive your icebreaking diploma.
Continue by snowmobile to a Lappish teepee with
open fire for coffee or hot berry juice. Yet
another challenge lies ahead: learn to drive a reindeer pulled sledge; after a short drivers test,
receive your reindeer drivers license. Back to
Kemi by snowmobiles. Dinner is served in the
Snow Castle of Kemi; (The experience is very
similar to the Meripertti Snow Lodge therefore
we recommend that you book one or the other, but
not both).

Day 4 Sun KEMI - ROVANIEMI - SANTA VILLAGE
(B, D)
After breakfast take a train ride to Rovaniemi.
Transfer by car to meet Santa Claus in his
workshop at the Arctic Circle. Visit Santa's
Post Office and mail your Santa letters cards.
En route, your drive brings you by the
highlights of Rovaniemi, such as the Lumberjack
Bridge and Ounasvaara Hill.
In
Santa Claus Village you will visit the House of
Santa and learn about Christmas Traditions
around the world and in Finland. Receive your
certificate for crossing the Arctic Circle
and visit the home and studio of Lappish
artists. Make your own Lapland souvenir of
reindeer antler and enjoy their private home
over coffee. Transfer to your hotel in Rovaniemi
for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Mon ROVANIEMI (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is at leisure for
optional excursions
or individual activities, sightseeing or
shopping. Dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: Hotel Rantasipi
Pohjanhovi or
Hotel Sokos Vaakuna.
Meals: breakfast, dinner
Day 6 Tue DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the
Rovaniemi Airport for your return flight home.
