Hafjell Alpinsenter consists
of:
33 km of alpine runs; 9 green, 9 blue, 7 red and 4 black
28 runs
Longest downhill run 7 km
7 km floodlit (night skiing)
12 lifts, whereof 3 chair lifts (2 express lifts) and 3 lifts for children
and beginners
830 m vertical drop (1030 m.a.s.l - 200 m.a.s.l.)
Lift capacity: 15.300 pers. per hour
Snow machines covering 20 km of the total area
Our express chairlifts take you up to 300 kilometers of trails criss-crossing the mountain.
Season:
The resort opens in November and close season 22 April 2006. Opening Hours:
Daily from 09.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Applies to floodlit runs (Lift I, Family
lift, and the Half pipe area). The other runs close at 03.30 pm from start
of
season to 31 Jan 2007
Night skiing:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5.30 pm – 8 pm to 29 March 2007. One run is
closed for training Tuesday
and Thursday
Lift tickets:
All varieties from season pass to 2-hour tickets. Lift tickets valid
for 2 days or more night skiing included. All lift
tickets except punch tickets
are also valid in the other Troll pass resorts (Kvitfjell, Gålå, Skeikampen)
Ski Rental:
Rental of all types of skis, snowboard, boots, helmets, poles for one or
more days are offered at Hafjell Ski Rental :
The rental shop also has
equipment to provide the very best service on your skis.
Ski School for everyone:
Group instructions in alpine and snowboard. Private instruction in
alpine, Telemark, snowboard and cross country is
given by Hafjell Ski School. Sign
up for lessons at the Ski School front desk.
Kids area:
An outdoor area with access to a room where you can bring your own
lunch box and also put your kid in the indoor
nursery for a few hours. The outdoor
area is decorated with figures, a small conveyor and a mini race course.
Troll-club/Knerte-club/Snow-club/Junior-club/Hafjell-club. The clubs
offer instruction for children aged 4 and older.
Group training for a minimum of 3
days. Look Ski School for more information.
Nursery:
We have our own nursery where the 2 to 7-years olds can play and enjoy
themselves with our friendly, responsible
staff.
Here they can find lots of exciting toys and cartoons. They can draw, build
Lego or find themselves a new
playmate.
The nursery is close to the slopes and the outdoor activities
at the foot of the runs. Just drop in !

Cross Country:
Our two express chair lifts take you right up to 300 kilometers of
well prepared trails. From here you can ski for miles
and miles on trails trough
varied and easy terrain. To use the chair lifts you can buy a separate
ticket for cross country
skiing.
