Day 1 ARRIVAL KEMI (D)
Transfer by taxi from
airport, railway station or bus station to Hotel
Cumulus or Hotel Merihovi. Overnight in double
rooms.

Day 2 SNOWMOBILE SAFARI - ICEBREAKER
CRUISE
(B, L, D)
After the breakfast a guide will pick you up
from the hotel and help you change into warm
safari outfits. The snowmobile safari to the
ice- breaker Sampo will start. You will meet the
icebreaker on the ice field and after boarding
the journey through the ice begins. The cruise
includes a guided tour on board, ice swimming
and lunch: Salmon soup or reindeer sauté,
Finnish bread and coffee/tea.
The safari to a Lapp teepee continues by
snowmobiles (2 persons/ snowmobile). After a
coffee pause and a short drive in reindeer
sledge with a real reindeer herder we head back
to the hotel for overnight.

Day 3 HUSKY SAFARI - SNOW HOTEL (B, L)
Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast your guide
will provide you with Safari outfits as we set
out to a genuine Husky Farm for an exhilarating
2-hour husky safari. You will learn how to drive
the husky team of 5 to 6 dogs, and soon you'll
be a "musher”. Two persons take turn in driving
the dog team and sitting in the sleigh as
passenger (children travel in parent's sleigh).
A light lunch will be served by open fire.
Tonight you have the
pleasure of staying in Arctic surroundings at
the Snow Hotel! Everything is made of snow!
Temperature in the hotel rooms is approximately
– 5 º C, but you will have a good night sleep in
a warm sleeping bag. The sleeping bags are
designed extreme climate zones and provide a
great amount of comfort and a large measure of
coziness.

Day 4 DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel and transfer to the airport,
railway station or bus.
