Day 1 ARRIVAL IN TROMSØ
Individual arrival in Tromsø. Self transfer and
individual check-in at the Radisson SAS Hotel
Tromsø or Rica Ishavshotel.

Day 2 DOG SLEDGE SAFARI (B, D)
After breakfast the day is free for “Optional
activities”. Why not try Snow shoeing; Snow
mobile safari, Ice fishing, Guided cross country
skiing or an Aurora flight!
Picked up at 18.15 hrs. at
your hotel and drive to Tromsø Villmarkssenter
(1/2 hour drive). We will provide warm clothes
and footwear. Embark on your dog sled journey;
you may choose to drive the sled or enjoy the
pristine nature comfortably wrapped in reindeer
fur on one of the guide’s sleds.
Glide over the beautiful island of Kvaløya and
enjoy exquisite views of mountains and sea. With
some luck we encounter a reindeer herd or see
the Aurora Borealis.
Dinner will be served (a
traditional Sámi meal) including coffee and cake
in our lavvo. Learn more about the dogs and
Europe’s longest dog sled race (Finnmarksløpet
1000km), in which we participate each year.
Return to your hotel at app.22.30 hrs, after a
memorable night or day at Tromsø
Villmarkssenter.

Day 3 HORSE SLEIGH RIDE - IN SEARCH OF
NORTHERN LIGHTS
(B, D)
After breakfast day at leisure for more
“Optional activities” before your evening
program. Pick up at your hotel at 19.15 hours
and transfer to Holmeslet Gård. Wrapped in
reindeer skin, the horses will take you on a
sleigh ride, where you discover the silence of
the Norwegian nature. The only sound you hear
are the bells and the trot of the horses. Coffee
or tea and a homemade traditional flat bannock
will be served in a warm lavvu! Duration: 3,5
hours
