Day 1
ARRIVAL COPENHAGEN (D)
Arrive Copenhagen and transfer
on your own to the hotel. The tour begins with your
check-in at the centrally located Copenhagen hotel.
Check-in available from 2pm. At 6pm, your tour
escort will invite you for a get-together dinner in
a restaurant inside the famous Tivoli Gardens.
Accommodation: Hotel Square.

Day 02 COPENHAGEN - OSLO (B, D)
After breakfast buffet this morning, a local guide
and private coach will take you on a 3-hours city
tour of "Wonderful Copenhagen". We pass City Hall
Square, Christiansborg Palace, the old Stock
Exchange, Nyhavn Canal and the new Opera House.
Photo stops will be made at the royal residence
Amalienborg Palace and the landmark of Copenhagen,
The Little Mermaid.
The afternoon is free for a
leisurely stroll on the bustling pedestrian and
shopping street "Stroget", and at 15:30 a private
coach is ready to bring you to the DFDS Seaways pier
for embarkation on the overnight ferry to Oslo.
Departure at 5pm, and while you sail past Hamlet's
spectacular castle Kronborg, a delicious buffet
dinner is served in the restaurant. After dinner the
evening is free to visit the night club with live
music and dancing.

Day 03 OSLO (B)
Enjoy
your leisurely buffet breakfast while cruising the
idyllic Oslo Fjord. Disembark in Oslo at 9:30 am.
Proceed
by private coach and local guide on a 3-hours city tour of Oslo, the Norwegian
capital.
Drive past Akerhus Fortress, the
Parliament, City Hall and the Royal Palace, and
visit the Vigeland Sculpture Park by Norwegian artist Gustaf
Vigeland. Continue to Holmenkollen Ski Jump with
spectacular view over the city and fjord.
Time for a light lunch at the main street Karl Johan
or Aker Brygge; sightseeing tour will end at the
hotel for check in.
The rest of the day at leisure.

Day 04
OSLO - GEILO (B, D)
Breakfast
at the hotel. By modern touring coach along the shores of the Tyri Fjord to Hadeland
for a visit to the glassworks, Norway’s oldest. Continue into the fertile Hallingdal Valley with farms
scattered on the hillsides, and drive via Gol to
Torpo to view the old wooden stave church. Proceed to Geilo, a famous ski resort where
dinner and overnight awaits you.

Day 05 GEILO - FLÅM - STALHEIM (B, D)
After breakfast embark the morning train from Geilo to Myrdal.
Change to the famous Flåm Railroad, the
steepest and most spectacular railroad in Europe.
Upon arrival in the small village of Flåm, nested
by the Aurland Fjord, you have time for lunch and some
shopping, before boarding the fjord ferry for a 2-hours cruise on the Aurland and
Naeroyfjord, both arms of the majestic Sognefjord.
Disembark in the fjord village of Gudvangen, and
continue by bus up the narrow hairpin road to Stalheim,
our mountain top hotel for the next 2 days.
Dinner and overnight.

Day 06 STALHEIM - BERGEN - HARDANGER FJORD
- STALHEIM (B, D)
Today starts with a full day excursion to Bergen.
Drive via Voss to the fjord capital of Bergen, where
your tour escort will take you on a short
orientation tour including the Fish and Flower Market and the
Bryggen wharf, now on Unesco's World Heritage List.
Free time to explore this charming city on your own,
and mid-afternoon return to Stalheim via Steindalsfossen
waterfalls, along the shores of the Hardanger Fjord
and Voss. Dinner and overnight in Stalheim.

Day 07 STALHEIM - SOGNEFJORD - GEIRANGER
(B, D)
After
breakfast a descent to Vinje and a ferry crossing of
the Sognefjord from Vangsnes to Dragsvik. Cruise
from Balestrand on the idyllic Fjaerland Fjord to Fjaerland.
Admire the ice
blue Jostedalsbreen Glacier and continue our drive via Skei and Loen
along Hornindal Lake to Hellesylt. Late afternoon
an unforgettable 90-minutes cruise on the majestic
Geiranger Fjord where you pass the Seven Sisters'
Waterfalls. Disembark in Geiranger for dinner and
overnight at hotel.

Day 08 GEIRANGER - LILLEHAMMER (B, D)
This morning a short drive to Dalsnibba Mountain
Plateau, a spectacular and famous panorama point in Norway.
Via Grotli to Lom with visit the old wooden
stave church from the 12th century. Continue via Otta into the
idyllic Gudbrandsdalen Valley, also said to be
the home of the Trolls. Afternoon arrival in Lillehammer, site of the 1994 Winter Olympics.
After a short orientation drive of the Olympic
sites, check into our Hotel. Free time before dinner
to stroll and shopping. Dinner and overnight.

Day 09 HAMAR - KARLSTAD - STOCKHOLM (B)
Today we
drive across the boarder into Sweden and across
forest-clad landscapes into Karlstad. Situated on
the north shore of Sweden's largest lake, Vanern and
next to the Klaralven river, this is truly a
beautiful city and perfect place to stop for lunch.
( not included ) Continue along the King's Road, a
historical thoroughfare route dating from the 13th
century, taking us to our final destination at
Stockholm.

Day 10 STOCKHOLM (B)
After breakfast a 3-hours city tour of Stockholm
with local guide and
private coach. Visit the City Hall, site of the
annual Nobel Prize Banquet. Enjoy a panoramic
view from Fjellgatan Street of the city, also called
"Beauty on the Water". Take a stroll in the
Old Town with its narrow cobble-stoned streets. On
our way back to the hotel we pass the Royal Palace
and
the Parliament.
Afternoon at leisure for shopping or an optional
cruise in the canals and harbor of Stockholm.
