Welcome for Kristina Regina's big Northern
cruise. It's just the right time for the Baltic
Sea. The roses of Visby are in blossom and
Copenhagen's summer life is in full swing. We
can watch seal colonies on Shetland's cliffs and
we visit Lerwick's small harbor and shops. We
cruise along the steep mountain cliffs of the
Faroe Islands and have a stop at the smallest
capitol in the world, Torshavn, whose colored
wooden houses let us think of the south. We
experience Iceland's different summer, with it's
northern lights, snow-capped glaciers and the
never ending screaming of the bird
colonies-nesting cliffs. We do not forget to
have a relaxed bath in geothermal water and we
visit Thingvellir, the world's oldest parliament
meeting place. At Thingvellir we can stand on a
bluff and see the Mid-Atlantic ridge as it
carves its way
north and east into the island's interior. Enjoy
